The Dandy is central to all that Tucker County is known for. While everything in Thomas is steps away - the town of Davis, Canaan Valley & Blackwater Falls State Parks, the Monongahela National Forest, Timberline Mountain, White Grass, and the Dolly Sods Wilderness are just down the road.
We have two historic flats.
The Dandy has two private flats/apartments available for short-term stay - The Nonchalant and The Quaintrelle. Each has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, living area, dining nook, and queen bed.

You are transported back in time to the concept of a boomtown rooming house - but one that is upscale, remarkably and creatively decorated, and powered with solar energy. Also, the attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Every time we thought it might be nice to have something in the kitchen or bathroom - there it was! We also loved being able to have our dog with us for a very reasonable fee and walking him through town and on the rail trail down the street each morning.
